General

General

  • You play padel 2 vs. 2. You drum up a partner and challenge your friends or other couples to a game!
  • The ball is allowed to bounce once on a half
  • The ball is out if it first hits the glass or fence and only then hits the ground
  • The glass may be used during the point to return a ball but not the fence!

Points

In Padel, you play with the same scoring system as in tennis. So 15 / 30 / 40 game. At 40-40 (Deuce), the rule is that you win the game by 2 points. With 2 sets won, you are the winner!

Service

The point always begins with a serve played diagonally and underhand. The ball may be hit after the person serving has first allowed it to bounce. The ball must bounce within the opponent’s service box and may touch the glass. If the ball bounces against the fence (after 1 bounce) the service is out and the player may hit a second service.
